Amigurumi Cat Aurora Crochet Free Pattern

Hello my visitors who love to knit amigurumi. In this article, I share new amigurumi patterns for you free of charge. To knit free amigurumi patterns, it will be enough to follow the terms I shared for you. You can delight your children with amigurumi toys.

Materials:
• 2.5 mm of 2,75mm crochet hook I used 2.5 mm
• Cotton yarn
(I used Catania from Schachenmayr in
cream (130), light blue (173), light yellow (403), blue (261), yellow (280).
• Black and pink embroidery thread
• Safety eyes 8.00 mm
• Stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
I used thin black thread

The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology. Instructions are easy to follow if you are familiar with basic crochet techniques.
The size of the toys is approximately 15 cm in sitting position. It may vary though depending on the kind of yarn and hook size used.
You can also use any color of yarn.
Feel free to add accessories to your very own little cats.

Abbreviations:
• ch — chain
• sc — single crochet
• st/sts – stitch/stitches
• hdc — half double crochet

HEAD:
Use cream (130) yarn.
Rnd 1: start 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: (inc) x6 [12]
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x6 [18]
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x6 [24]
Rnd 5: (inc, 3 sc) x6 [30]
Rnd 6: 2 sc, (inc, 4 sc) x5, inc, 2 sc [36]
Rnd 7-8: sc around [36], 2 rounds
Rnd 9: 4 sc, (inc, 5 sc) x5, inc, sc [42]
Rnd 10-11: sc around [42], 2 rounds
Rnd 12: (6 sc, inc) x6 [48]
Rnd 13-20: sc around [48], 8 rounds
Attach the safety eyes between rounds 15 and 16 with 11 st between
• skip 16 stitches from the beginning, attach the first eye, then skip 11 stitches and attach the second eye.
Rnd 21: (dec, 4 sc) x8 [40]
Rnd 22: (dec, 3 sc) x8 [32]

Stuff the head firmly (fig 2, 3).
Invisible fasten off.
How to Invisible Fasten off:
Using a needle, insert it in both loops of the second stitch after the last stitch Then, insert it only in the back loop of the last stitch the yarn and use the remaining yarn tail for sewing.

BODY:
Use crem (130) yarn.

Change the yarn to light blue (173).
How to change the color of yarn:
With the two loops from the previous yarn on the hook wrap the new yarn around the hook, then pull the new yarn through the two loops of the stitch

Stuff the body firmly (fig 9).
Invisible fasten off the body.

Skirt:
Lay the body that the bottom is at the top and away from your face. Then, insert your hook in the last front loop of round 12 Pick up the light yellow (403) yarn and pull it through.
Ch 2, crochet 2 dc in this loop , 3 dc in next 47 loop
Fasten off.

EARS (make 2):
Use cream (130) yarn
Rnd 1: start 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: (sc, inc) x3 [9]
Rnd 3: (2 sc, inc) x3 [12]
Rnd 4: (3 sc, inc) x3 [15]
Rnd 5: (4 sc, inc) x3 [18]
Rnd 6: (5 sc, inc) x3 [21]
Rnd 7: sc around [21]
Cut the yarn, leave a long tail for sewing. Don’t stuff the ears

ARMS (make 2):
Use cream (130) yarn.
Rnd 1: start 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: (sc, inc) x3 [9]
Rnd 3-4: sc around [9], 2 rounds
Rnd 5: dec, 7 sc [8]
Rnd 6-12: sc around [8], 7 rounds
Don’t stuff the hand
Change the yarn to light blue.
Rnd 13: sc around [8]
Rnd 14: BLO: (inc) x8, [16]
Rnd 15-17: sc around [16], 3 rounds
Rnd 18: (dec, 6 sc) x2 [14]
Rnd 19: (dec, 5 sc) x2 [12]
Cut the yarn, leave a tail for sewing.
Lay the arm that the beginning is at the tor and away from your face. Insert your hook in last front loop of round 14 and attach the light yellow yarn
Ch 1, 2 hdc in this loop (fig 18), 3 hdc in next 7 loops Fasten off.

SHOES (make 2)
Use light blue (173) yarn.
Ch 5. Stitches are worked around both sides of the foundation chain.
Rnd 1: start in second chain from the hook: inc in this stitch, 2 sc, 3 sc in last st.
Continue on the other side of the foundation chain, 3 sc, slst in first st [10]
Rnd 2: ch 1, 2 inc, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc, inc, slst in first st [16]
Rnd 3: ch 1, (sc, inc) x2, 2 sc, (sc, inc) x3, 3 sc, inc, slst in first st, [22]
Rnd 4: ch 1, sc* in the space (using the post of stitch) between stitches, join with slst in first st, [22]
*Insert your hook from back to front through the space between the single crochet stitches. Yarn over, complete the single crochet as usual.
Rnd 5-6: ch 1, 22 sc, slut in first st [22], 2 rounds
Rnd 7: ch 1, 8 sc, 5 dec, 4 sc, slst in first st
Rnd 8: ch 1, 7 sc, 3 dec, 4 sc, change the yarn to light yellow, slst in first st [14]
Rnd 9: ch 1, FLO (use only front loops): (inc) x14, [28]
Invisible fasten off
Stuff the shoes firmly.

LEGS:Use cream (130) yarn.
Attach the cream yarn to the firt back loop of round 9.
Ch 1, make a sc in this stitch, place your stitch marker here. It will be the first st of the leg. Crochet sc in next 13 st [14]
Rnd 1: ch 1, sc in each back loops of round 9, slst in first st [14]
Rnd 2-4: ch 1, 14 sc, slst in first st [14] Cut the yarn, leave a long tail for sewing. Fasten off.
Stuff the legs firmly

TAIL:Use cream (130) yarn.
Rnd 1: 8 sc in magic ring [8]
Rnd 2-16: sc around [8], 15 rounds
Stuff the tail lightly.
Cut the yarn, leave a tail for sewing

ASSEMBLY:
Sew the ears to head between rounds 4 and 14 The bottom of ear should be sewn S stitches from the eye on the left and on the right and 2 stitches up The top of ears should be sewn 12 st between

Use the pink embroidery thread, embroider the small nose 2 stitches length and 1 stitch height between the eyes

Use the black thin thread, embroider the mouth stitches height two mustaches of 3 stitches length on both sides from eyes and eyebrow – 2 stitches length and 1 stitch height

Sew the body to the head using the light blue yarn. The opening of the body should be sewn by going across each stitch of head and body the thread well (41).

Use a pin, mark the middle stitch between rounds 24 and 25. Count 4 stitches to the right and to the left. Sew the arms to the body. The front corners of each arm should be 8 stitches apart

Sew the legs to the body. The legs should be sewn between round 6 to 11 of the body
Last, sew the tail on the back side of the body

FLOWER and LACE
Use blue (261) and yellow (280) yarn.
In magic ring: (ch 5 + slst) x5
Fasten off. Sew the flower to the lace
Lace: ch 55, fasten off.
