Amigurumi Cute Chick Flix Free Crochet Pattern

Used materials:
• Crochet hook 2,0 mm
• Fiberfill
• Sewing needle
• Markers
• Colors: yellow, orange or brown, black, white

Crochet Terms (US):
ch = chain
sc = stich
inc = increase
dec = decrease
slst = slip stich
* crochet .. x= repeat and crochet x times what is between * *
[ ] = total off stiches in round
FS = frontside loops
BS = Backside loops

Foundation chain:
Foundation Chain Single Crochet (FCSC): Begin with a slip knot and chain 2. (These two chains do not count as stitches.) Insert your hook in the second chain from hook – yarn over hook and pull back through the loop – you now have 2 loops on your hook.
Yarn over hook and pull through one loop only. Yarn over hook and pull through both loops.

Head:
Color yellow.
Rnd 1. 6sc in magic circle (=6)
Rnd 2. inc crochet 6x (=12)
Rnd 3. 1sc, inc, crochet 6x (=18)
Rnd 4. 1sc, inc, 1sc crochet 6x (=24)
Rnd 5. 24sc (=24)
Rnd 6. 3sc, inc crochet 6x (=30)
Rnd 7. 2sc, inc, 2sc crochet 6x =(36)
Rnd 8. 5sc, inc crochet 6x (=42)
Rnd 9. 42sc (=42)
Rnd 10. 42sc (=42)
Rnd 11. 42sc (=42)
Rnd 12. 42sc (=42)
Rnd 13. 42sc (=42)
Rnd 14. 5sc, dec crochet 6x (=36)
Rnd 15. 2sc, dec, 2sc crochet 6x (=30)

Fill up the head.
Rnd 20. dec crochet 6x (=6)
End off and close the gab.

Legs (2x):
Color yarn: yellow and orange. Start with orange
Rnd 1. 6sc in magic circle (=6)
Rnd 2. inc, 1sc crochet 3x (=9)
Rnd 3. Change to yellow. 9sc (=9)
Rnd 4. 9sc (=9)
Crochet another legg and go further wiht the body.

Body:
Crochet the two leggs together. So go further where you ended with leg 2.
Rnd 5. Crochet 9sc over legg 1 and 9sc over legg 2 (=18)
Rnd 6. 18sc (=18)
Rnd 7. 18sc (=18)
Rnd 8. 18sc (=18)
Rnd 9. Decrease at the sides off the body. 2sc, dec, dec, 6sc, dec, dec, 2sc (=14)
Rnd 10. 14sc (=14)
End off and leave yarn for sewing. Full up the body with fiberfill.

Beak:
Color yarn: orange
Rnd 1. 5sc in magic circle (=5)
Rnd 2. inc crochet 3x, 2sc (=8)
End off and leave yarn for sewing

Eyes (2x):
Color yarn black
Rnd 1. 6sc in magic circle (=6)
Rnd 2. 6slst (=6)
End off and leave yarn for sewing and embroider the lashes.
Embroider with white yarn spots on the eyes.

Tail:
Color yarn yellow
Rnd 1. 5sc in magic circle (=5)
Rnd 2. inc crochet 3x, 2sc (=8)
End off and leave yarn for sewing

Arms (2x):
Color yarn yellow
Rnd 1. 5sc in magische circle (=5)
Rnd 2. 5sc (=5)
Rnd 3. 5sc (=5)
Rnd 4. 5sc (=5)
Rnd 5. 5sc (=5)
End off and leave yarn for sewing. Do not fill up.

Hair (2 strands):
Color yarn yellow
Rnd 1. 5sc in magische circle (=5)
Rnd 2.Chain foundatian chain of 4sc * see youtube link how to make this at end off pattern
Rnd 3. Turn, 4sc
Rnd 4. Foundation chain of 3sc
Rnd 5. Turn 3sc.
End off and leave yarn for sewing

Hair (1 strand):
Color yarn yellow
Rnd 1 Foundation chain of 3sc
Rnd 2 Turn 3sc.
End off and leave yarn for sewing

Assembling: Sew the body and head together. Keep them straight.
Sew the eyes on Rnd 12-15, with 5-6 stiches in between.
Place the beak between the eyes with 1 stich free between eyes and beak.
Embroider with orange three freckles on the head, under the eyes.
Sew the arms on the side off the body and the tail at the back off the body on Rnd 6.
